CU President and Trustee Contribute to Our Daily Bread Ministries Video Curriculum

News July 11, 2018

Discovery House, an entity of Our Daily Bread Ministries, recently released “Awakening: Discover Your Role in the Gospel,” a DVD series featuring Cornerstone University President Joe Stowell and CU Trustee Rev. Artie Lindsay, Sr.

The video series, born out of a hunger to draw Christians into full and abundant lives in Christ, was filmed with the vision to help new and seasoned Christians practically live out the gospel.

“This study is dedicated to those trying to navigate life as a follower of Jesus and for those living in a spiritual desert who desire a more fulfilling life,” Julie Richardson, project manager, said.

Hosted by Sheridan Voysey, an Australian broadcaster, the curriculum is comprised of six video lessons as well as a 60-page downloadable study guide. Video lessons include interviews and testimony from individuals who are learning more about what it means to live out the gospel paired with a Bible teaching from four Bible teachers, including Stowell and Linsday.

“Awakening” begins with street interviews conducted in a variety of locations including Cornerstone’s campus, and each video concludes with a roundtable conversation with the four Bible teachers.

“Anyone seeking to grow in their knowledge of the Bible and in their relationship with God will find this study meaningful and transforming,” Richardson said.

The curriculum, available through Discovery House, can be used for individual study and is also a cost-effective tool for use in small groups or Bible studies.
