Serve Globally with a Missions Aviation Bachelor’s Degree
Combine your passion for spreading the Gospel with the technical skills of aviation through Cornerstone University’s B.S. in Missions Aviation. Gain biblical, intercultural, and aviation expertise, preparing you to serve in global mission fields and remote communities. Through a partnership with the School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT), a nationally accredited aviation school, you’ll receive professional training in either aircraft maintenance or piloting, ensuring you are ready for aviation ministry.
Missions Aviation Program Structure
Students prepare to engage with mission organizations that employ missionary aviators. Freshmen, sophomore, and senior years are spent at Cornerstone, completing core requirements, a biblical studies major, and several courses in intercultural studies.
Junior year is spent at the School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT). Students must complete the pre-entrance requirements for SMAT before proceeding with technical training. Cornerstone will accept the FAA certificate earned by the graduates of SMAT as evidence of prior learning in the amount of 60 credits (for aircraft maintenance certificate) or 45 credits (for flight certificate).
