Serve Globally with a Missions Aviation Bachelor’s Degree

Combine your passion for spreading the Gospel with the technical skills of aviation through Cornerstone University’s B.S. in Missions Aviation. Gain biblical, intercultural, and aviation expertise, preparing you to serve in global mission fields and remote communities. Through a partnership with the School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT), a nationally accredited aviation school, you’ll receive professional training in either aircraft maintenance or piloting, ensuring you are ready for aviation ministry.

Missions Aviation Program Structure

Students prepare to engage with mission organizations that employ missionary aviators. Freshmen, sophomore, and senior years are spent at Cornerstone, completing core requirements, a biblical studies major, and several courses in intercultural studies.
Junior year is spent at the School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT). Students must complete the pre-entrance requirements for SMAT before proceeding with technical training. Cornerstone will accept the FAA certificate earned by the graduates of SMAT as evidence of prior learning in the amount of 60 credits (for aircraft maintenance certificate) or 45 credits (for flight certificate).

A Christian Worldview of Liberal Arts and the G.O.O.D. Life

The humanities are integral to Cornerstone’s liberal arts approach, exploring culture, literature, history, and philosophy through a Christian worldview.
