Cornerstone’s 91.3 WCSG Leads in Listeners in West Michigan

Congratulations to the 91.3 WCSG team for serving the community as West Michigan’s top-rated station in the first quarter of 2025.* Out of more than 30 regional (secular and Christian) radio stations, WCSG — a radio ministry of Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan — drew the largest market share by a wide margin across the West Michigan region! This market share is determined by overall number of listeners and the time they spend listening.

The leading Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) station also achieved No. 1 rating among Persons 12+ in February 2025, with a significant lead in ratings among Women 12+, Women 35-44, and Women 25-54. These results are a powerful sign that the station’s uplifting, Christ-centered content is impacting women and families in our community, allowing WCSG to fulfill its mission to encourage, empower, and build community in Christ.

“This ratings book reflects the dedication of our team and the power of Christ-centered content to truly connect with listeners,” said Alicia Wyant, executive director of WCSG. “We’re honored to serve West Michigan in this way.”

While this is not a first for WCSG, this is a rare achievement amongst Contemporary Christian Stations — only 4 or 5 CCM stations in the entire country reach No. 1 in their markets. WCSG has been able to achieve this distinction several times in the last five years and is a mainstay in the top three stations year-round no matter the rating period.

Thank you to the dedicated team serving as a mission-outreach from Cornerstone University. Through music, hosted content, podcasts, inspirational blogs, special events and more, WCSG’s voice of Christ-centered encouragement and hope continues to resonate in our community. Congratulations to 91.3 WCSG for their great work!
