Bronkema is in his twelfth year with the Advancement Office at Cornerstone. As vice president for radio development, Bronkema is the administrator responsible for the day-to-day fundraising programs for 91.3 WCSG, 89.9 WaYfm Grand Rapids, 88.3 WaYfm Kalamazoo, Mission Network News and His Kids.net.
Background: Bronkema is a Cornerstone University alumni. He began his professional career as a merchandise manager at JC Penney then became a catalog buyer for Amway Corporation. His passion for ministry led him to Cornerstone where he held positions as director of alumni relations, director of alumni relations and annual fund, executive director of advancement, associate vice president of advancement and to his current position as vice president of radio development.
Interests: In his free time, Bronkema can be found on a golf course in West Michigan, teaching an adult sunday school class, serving as an elder in his church, and working with young men in a program called the Timothy Project (a mentoring program designed to help young men with their purpose and leadership potential). Bronkema has been married to wife, Beth, for nearly 30 years. They have a daughter, Stephanie, who was recently married and works as a chemical engineer and a son, Scott, who is a sophomore at Cornerstone.
